By accessing or using QR Code Harbor ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
QR Code Harbor is a web-based tool that allows users to create, customize, and download QR codes. The Service is available in both free and paid tiers. QR codes are generated client-side in the user's browser.
3. User Accounts
Some features may require registration. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
4. Free and Paid Plans
4.1 Free Plan
The free plan provides access to basic QR code generation features with advertisements displayed. Free plan features may be modified at any time.
4.2 Paid Plans (Pro & Business)
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, depending on the option you choose at checkout. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Create QR codes that link to malware, phishing sites, or other harmful content
- Generate QR codes for illegal purposes or to facilitate illegal activities
- Distribute spam or unsolicited commercial content
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
- Use automated means to access the Service without our written permission
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by QR Code Harbor and protected by intellectual property laws. QR codes you generate are yours to use freely for any legal purpose.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Static QR code content is generated locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. Dynamic codes, short links, hosted pages, the API and AI art necessarily send what you enter to our servers, because that is what they are: content we store and serve on your behalf.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QR Code Harbor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QR Code Harbor and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
